Record your chosen background music

September 17th, 2008 · No Comments

Record your chosen background music. Choose the music that is distinctive to the video events you are recording. If the scenes are taken at a beach party, the sounds of the sea and people chatting can add to the mood of the video. This will let the viewers feel and imagine that they are also a part of your video. Try to record the sounds as clear as possible and don’t worry too much about the footage of your video. A clear audio can easily be manipulated and moved to different parts of the recorded video.

Be wary of the wind. Recording your audio outdoors and on windy days will be very hard since this may create a popping or slapping sound on your microphone. You can cut down this effect by simply slipping a fuzzy sock over your microphone or you can just purchase a wind protector.
